Eligibility:
Graduation in any discipline for the PG Diploma. Those who have cleared their class 12 and are pursuing graduation can also join for the award of a diploma. It is meant for those who have an interest in event management, event promotion and concept selling, coordination and logistics. Negotiations and the art of presentation are part of this program, so is Public Relations.
Objective:
Event management is an extension of new age PR which is about idea generation, brainstorming, planning, coordinating and executing events with clinical precision. Students study advertising, corporate communication, brand management and communication strategies as part of the program with focus on events like fashion shows, celebrity and talk shows, press conferences, expos, exhibitions, seminars and wedding planning.
The MassCoMedia USP:
Because of the Institute's connections with media houses and the industry in general, students will get the opportunity to work on some major events organized in the National Capital Region and outside.
