Objective:
The course aims to prepare media managers to meet the challenges posed by increased competition in the market. The curriculum empowers you to profitably run film and TV production companies, satellite TV channels, private radio broadcasting stations, books, and periodicals and newspaper publishing media houses besides establishing own business ventures.
Course Content:
It provides media practitioners with a wider analytical perspective on the issues affecting their work, and offers graduates a firm foundation for a career in the media industry. Comparative in scope, the Media Management program covers areas like media economics and ownership patterns, research and planning, management principles, ethics & responsibilities, advertising management (media marketing), brand management and event management. This course will give you insights into the management and ownership aspects of running a media company.
The MassCoMedia USP:
The students can take advantage of the Institute's connections with prestigious media companies and specialize in areas like media marketing, planning, research and brand management, apart from managing various media. Students will also be given a chance to work on live projects.
Note: Students can transfer credits to Deakin University in the second year and study there for six months for an international degree.
